Canterbury Timber and Hardware, are a Selwyn owned and operated independent timber & hardware store based just off Main South Road. They service and supply over 1000 customers every month with their timber and hardware products and knowledge. We are a member of FCANZ and the largest outdoor timber mover in Christchurch so you know you will always get fresh stock.
Our main focus is on the supply of landscaping and rural timber products and associated hardware for contractors, farmers, and the home DIYer. Our timber supply consists mainly of NZ Pine, Oregon and Macrocarpa, along with imported sustainable timber and composite timber products.
For the rural farmer or lifestyle block owner, we can supply all your fencing materials including posts, wire and netting, gates and hardware and electric fencing products from New Zealand’s most reputable suppliers.
DIY and home handy-people are most welcome and we offer a large range of timber, hardware and tools for all those projects that add value to your greatest asset.
We are more than happy to quote your project, or call and get some advice on what you will need for the job and we pride ourselves on offering personalised pick and pack service. This is just one of the services we offer to EVERY customer that visits us at our purpose-built premises in Manion Road.
Our site is wheelchair and disability friendly with ample off street parking. Products can be ordered by phone or email and delivered to your site. Alternatively you can call ahead and let us pick and pack for you on site.
